River Cottage

River Cottage is a self catered, dog friendly cottage perfect for families.

With a twin bedroom and a double bedroom it can host up to four guests. There is a shared bathroom complete with walk in shower, sink, mirror and a toilet. The cottage has an open plan living space with a kitchen and dining area, then cosy living room space with two comfortable sofas, side table and flat screen, wall mounted, television. The cottage comes with a private garden and conservatory.

As part of the Anglers Arms, guests are welcome to book and dine in our restaurant, make use of our car park and children's play area as well as reception team at the bar. However, with it’s own entrance and facilities you have the independence which comes with a cottage let, but with the extra attention and care which comes from having a housekeeping and reception team.

Located only 15 minutes from Alnwick Castle and Gardens, as well as Alnmouth beach, River Cottage is perfectly placed for family holidays and mini breaks. Northumberland is home to both rural and coastal walks, tourist attractions and market towns full of independent boutiques and cafes, and we are within half an hour of it all.
